On 15 May, Friday, between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm, in Room 249 at FPCEUP, there will be a presentation and discussion session around the e‑book “Digital Education in Rural and/or Peripheral Areas – Challenges and Opportunities in Contexts of Latin America and the Community of Portuguese‑Speaking Countries”, authored by Teresa Medina (coord.), Henrique Vaz (coord.), Carla Cardoso (coord.), Elisabete Ferreira, João Caramelo, Alexandra Sá Costa and Júlio Santos, researchers at CIIE.
The book is the result of a research project funded by the Organization of Ibero‑American States (OEI), and the main interlocutors of the research were teachers and other educational actors from 11 CPLP and Latin American countries (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea‑Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico and Uruguay).
This session is organised by COPIN/CIIE “Work, Education, Development and Social Movements” (TEDEMOS) and by the Organization of Ibero‑American States (OEI), in collaboration with the Master’s in Adult Education and Training (MEFA) and the Paulo Freire Institute of Portugal (IPFP).
