Sancho Gil, both from the University of Barcelona..

This is a joint initiative of the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education and the Doctoral Program in Education Sciences at FPCEUP..

Speakers

Fernando Hernández-Hernández
He is Professor Emeritus in the Unit of Cultural Pedagogies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. He is a member of the ESBRINA research group - Subjectivities, Visualities and Contemporary Educational Environments - and of REUNI+D - University Network for Educational Research and Innovation. A researcher in art education, critical pedagogies and arts-based research, he is the author of numerous works that promote transformative education centered on experience and creativity. He participates in educational projects (with schools) and in cultural institutions, both in Spain and abroad, with the aim of contributing to the creation of management and participation methods that allow everyone to find their place to learn.

Juana M. Sancho Gil
She is Professor Emerita at the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona and Chair of Educational Technologies in the Department of Didactics and Educational Organisation at the UB. Her main research areas are institutional, organisational, technological and symbolic aspects of contemporary educational environments and the role of languages, visualities and digital technologies in teaching and learning. She also researches and publishes in the areas of innovation and improvement in education and teacher training. She was coordinator of the consolidated research group ESBRINA, as well as an advisor to the World Bank for educational improvement projects, and an advisor to the OECD in the Schools of Tomorrow Programme.
