A EERA (European Educational Research Association) atribui todos os anos um número limitado de bolsas a jovens investigadores promissores, que lhes permite participar gratuitamente na conferência anual da EERA, a European Conference for Educational Research (ECER). Para além da entrada gratuita na Conferência da ECER, este prémio inclui ainda apoio no valor de 550 euros para a viagem.
Ana Teixeira, membro do CIIE e estudante do Programa Doutoral em Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto (com bolsa de doutoramento atribuída pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), foi uma das premiadas da edição de 2019 da ECER, que se realizou este mês em Hamburgo sob o tema 'Education in an Era of Risk – the Role of Educational Research for the Future'. Ana Teixeira apresentou o trabalho "Citizenship education and gender equality: policies framing the action of civil society organizations in Portuguese schools”.
