Researcher at Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE) of the University of Porto, Portugal. I have earned my PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Porto (2022). The PhD followed 3 years working as a researcher in the project Society, School and Research developed in the Observatory of Life in Schools of University of Porto. Before that I have completed my Master's in Education Sciences (2016), at the same University, and a Degree in Arts Teacher Education (2014). My PhD was a FCT-funded research project (PD/BD/128279/2017) focused on teachers and students' narratives of art educational experiences in primary schools, in Portugal and Brazil. In 2018, as part of my PhD research, I developed a 6-month internship at the State University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. During this internship I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge on the narrative methodological approach. The main contribution deriving from my PhD research regards to the scientific and academic debate was on the production of subjectivity in education between regulation and emancipation as governing school cultures. During my research path I had the opportunity to collaborate in different national and international research projects, which allowed me to expand my experiences, knowledge and expertise. In 2019 I travelled to Angola as part of the research project ¿Quality of Cooperation for Development in Education¿ funded by the Camões Institute. The project was focused on teacher professionalism, in which I conducted arts teacher education. In 2020, I joined the Portuguese team of the European-funded research project 'Building Educational Bridges in the City¿ (2018-1-PT01-KA201-047392), aimed at understanding artistic and cultural impacts on children¿s educational experiences. Due to my expertise, I was invited as an arts teacher for the Portuguese Social Movement of Educational Bridges (2019-2021) and received a ¿promising practices¿ UNESCO distinction in 2020. Alongside this position and after a selection process in 2020, I acted as an external consultant and trainer for the Portuguese Ministry of Education in the Aesthetic Education Program until 2022, aimed at promoting imaginative ways and processes of experiencing school. In 2022, I was hired as a fellow researcher in the FCT-funded research project Research Methods in Advanced Studies in Education (EXPL/CED-EDG/1130/2021), at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development from the Lusófona University. My main task in the project was to develop a framework for the pedagogical dimensions of teaching and learning research methodologies in masters¿ and doctoral education programs. In the same year I was invited as a researcher on the FCT-funded Special program ¿Educational experiments for a science of the future¿ and on the ¿Digital Manuals in the Autonomous Region of Madeira¿ project, both concerning the impact of technologies on educational experiences. My different experiences have allowed me to improve my research expertise, gaining knowledge on how to plan and develop solid research, in an autonomous way. The knowledge produced was disseminated through more than 30 presentations in scientific events and 8 papers published in highly impacted scientific journals. Between 2022 and 2023, I was Invited Assistant Professor at Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration of Lusófona University, and a Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (CeiED). In the past, I acted as Fellow Researcher at CIIE of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of University of Porto (FPCEUP), and as evaluator of higher education courses for the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES). Previously, I worked as Visual Arts Teacher at varied levels of education.

Assentes nos pilares da inovação, cultura, ensino e investigação as atividades de iniciação à I&D dos estudantes far-se-ão no contexto do projeto ReMASE (Research Methods in Advanced Studies in Education) e no contexto de projetos em cursos em quatro das oito ReLeCo - Research and Learnig Communities e de um Observatório que fazem parte da estrutura de investigação do CeiED - Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares em Educação e Desenvolvimento. Essas ReLeCo são o NELP - Núcleo de Estudos de Língua Portuguesa, a Sociomuseologia, o NEISE - Núcleo de Estudos em Inclusão Social e Educativa e o EDCE - Educação Desportiva, Corpo e Ética. O Observatório é o Op.Edu - Observatório das Políticas de Educação. Quer as ReLeCo, quer o observatório, organizam-se em torno de uma área de especialização e interesses de investigação e incluem projetos de I&D, programa de trabalhos e ações de tutoria aos jovens investigadores apoiando-os nos seus projetos de mestrado e doutoramento.
A equipa de supervisores é constituída por professores/investigadores de distintas áreas do saber (Educação, Educação Especial, Educação Física, Interculturalidade, Linguagem, Museologia, Sociologia e outras Ciências Sociais), uma Gestora de projetos e um bolseiro de investigação. Este último está a desenvolver trabalho de pesquisa no âmbito do projeto ReMASE.
As atividades de investigação serão supervisionadas pelos professores/investigadores. A elaboração dos Relatórios Individuais será supervisionada pela Gestora de Ciência e Tecnologia. A produção de materiais digitais será supervisionada pela coordenadora das Escolas de Ciência: Iniciação à investigação científica e experiências digitais para uma ciência de futuro.
