CIIE Governance
CIIE'S BOARD
CIIE's Board is responsible for the management and administration of CIIE, comprising an Executive Committee and a Directive Board.
The Executive Committee is made up of four elected members, including the Director, the Deputy Director, and two members, elected as a list by the Scientific Council, with a programme proposal, and the Director of the Doctoral Programme of UPorto. The Director runs and represents CIIE, being assisted by the Deputy Director.
The Direct Board includes the five members of the Executive Committee, the Director of CIIE's journal Educação, Sociedade & Culturas (ESC), the representative of the Ethics Committee of FPCEUP, representatives of each of the strategic areas and representatives of the members' external to the U.Porto, of non-teaching researchers and of Ph.D. students.
