About the Book Series

Estudos em Ciências da Educação is CIIE's most recent collection of open-access e-books, publishing original works on relevant topics in contemporary thinking and research in Education Sciences.

This collection aims to offer a diversity of perspectives on key topics in education, both formal and informal, welcoming theoretical, empirical and/or methodological work, and may use a variety of methodologies and cross-disciplines relevant to education. Papers that critically engage with wider debates are encouraged, with the scope to potentially inform educational theory, policy and practice beyond the context in which the original work was carried out.
