The handbook Política de Informação das Coleções do centro interdisciplinar, transfronteiriço e inter-regional de memória da educação CITRIME-Murça [Information Policy for the collections of the interdisciplinary, cross-border and interregional education memory centre CITRIME-Murça] is the second notebook in the REDUF interdisciplinary notebooks collection. It is directly linked to the first, as the team's concern was to provide CITRIME-Murça with instruments to help organise the collections.
As a guiding document, the information policy explains how CITRIME-Murça should continue to inventory and document the knowledge and information it has about the collection's assets. It is a technical manual authored by a reviewer external to the project and seeks to combine very specific technical knowledge with tools for practical use.
By describing how the information should be maintained and developed, will help, in harmony with the resources available, both the professionals who will support CITRIME-Murça and other people who fulfil similar functions in institutions of equivalent scope. In this way, we aim to establish the main terms of reference for the best possible practices in the context of CITRIME-Murça.
