The proposal presented in the Férias Vives [Live Holidays] publication includes the design of the summer holidays in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira with the intention of recovering learning through play. This monitoring is being carried out by a team of researchers from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto, and this proposal includes the planning of the VIVES - Vive o Verão 21 (Live Summer 21) holidays, which includes the possibility of children going to the beach two days a week during this project. FPCEUP's action includes accompanying the Santa Maria da Feira City Council throughout the implementation of the "VIVE" project, guaranteeing pedagogical support for the whole endeavour.
