This report presents the work of the research project EduCiParT - Educação para a Cidadania Participatória em Sociedades em Transição [Education for Participatory Citizenship in Societies in Transition] (May 2010 - December 2012) funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). The project took place at the Centre for Educational Research and Intervention (CIIE) of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), and involved a team composed of Isabel Menezes, Helena Araújo, Pedro Ferreira and Sofia Pais, the grant holders Andreia Caetano and Mariana Rodrigues and the doctoral student Ana Bela Ribeiro.
