This e-book brings together a series of speeches presented at the international conference "O tempo dos Professores" [Teachers' Time], dedicated to scientific reflection and debate on teaching at all levels of education, from pre-school to higher education. This event was organised by CIIE and held at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, between 28 and 30 September 2017.
This book brings together seventy-nine original works on the teaching profession, spread over five chapters, organised between two notes:
the opening one by Lurdes Figueiral, a maths teacher, and the final one by António Nóvoa, a world-renowned teacher and researcher.
