The DigP-SEM project - Digital Platforms in the Educational Management of School Groups (PTDC/CED-EDG/29069/2017) carried out a nationwide study with the following objectives: 1) to identify and characterize the ways and purposes in which DTP are used in schools/School Groupings (SG); 2) to map the effects of DTP that have been generated in the dynamics of how schools/SG operate; 3) to build a guide to support reflection on the use of DTP in schools/SG.
The knowledge obtained provides an "X-ray" of this reality on a national scale which, when properly shared by groups of teachers, can support reflections that foster an appropriate digital transition in each educational context and reality.

The guide - A utilização das plataformas e tecnologias digitais em escolas/agrupamentos de escolas: contributos para reflexão [The use of digital platforms and technologies in schools/school clusters: contributions for reflection] - presents the results of the study along with suggestions for reflection that we hope will form the basis for defining strategies for improvement. These results relate both to the use of platforms and other digital technologies in educational management in schools/SG and to their purposes,
constraints and effects that headmasters, teachers, technicians and students have identified.
The final part of the guide presents terms, expressions and acronyms related to digital technologies in education that aim to clarify terminology in use in educational discourse.
It is hoped that this guide will be used by schools/SG to support the construction of a digital transformation based on processes of reflection and sharing that make it sustainable.
