On March 11, 2026, between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM, the seminar “Knowledge that Transforms: Educational Sciences, Contexts and Professionals” will take place at FPCEUP (Auditorium 1), as part of the 5th Seminar on Research Methodologies.

This initiative is the result of work developed by second-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Sciences within the curricular unit Research Methodologies: Laboratory of Qualitative Methodologies, taught by professors Sofia Marques da Silva and Sofia Castanheira Pais.

This seminar continues a series of meetings dedicated to the presentation and discussion of research projects developed within the context of the curricular unit, promoting contact between students, professionals, and researchers in the field of Education Sciences.

The event will feature special guests who will share their professional experiences and perspectives on the contexts of intervention and action in Educational Sciences:

• Andreia Pinto, President of the Association of Professionals in Educational Sciences

• Marta Santos, lecturer at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS)
