The Ideal City: Between Imagination and Construction

 

On 29 May 2026, between 09:30 and 12:30, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) will host the event “The Ideal City: Between Imaginations and Constructions.”

This event takes the form of a meeting, exhibition and debate, and presents a participatory arts-based action-research experience developed with young people from three schools in the Porto Metropolitan Area.

Organised within the framework of the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences (PDCE), the initiative invites the community to learn about and reflect on the projects developed, promoting dialogue around the construction of more inclusive and participatory cities.
Free admission.

09:00 – Reception of participants and registration (120 people – students, teachers and researchers).
