*Lecture "How Paulo Freire Became an International Author", by Professor Maria Inês Marcondes (Full Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro / PUC-Rio; researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development / Brazil; Scientist of Our State at the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro / FAPERJ)

"Why is Paulo Freire considered an international author? How he influenced the international context of curriculum studies, initially with the publication of PO in English fifty years ago. The research shows that the international experience of Freire's exile brought a new dimension to his work."
