On 14 February 2025, at 4 pm, the Community of Research Practices (CoPIn) Identity, Democracy, School, Administration and Training - IDEAFor, of the Centre for Educational Research and Intervention (CIIE) of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, will hold a session open to the public.

On this occasion, researcher Patrícia Alves will present the paper ‘Processes and results of doctoral education: A multi-method study in the Portuguese context’, centred on the results of her doctoral thesis.

Patrícia Alves has a PhD in Education Sciences, a master's degree in Human Resources Management and a degree in Psychology. With over a decade of experience in academic management in higher education, she is currently a junior researcher at the IPO-Porto Research Centre. Her research interests cover doctoral education, medical education, health promotion and health literacy.
