The BootStRaP - Boosting Societal Adaptation and Mental Health in a Rapidly Digitalising, Post-Pandemic Europe project team met in England between 14 and 16 March 2024 for the project's first bootcamp. The event was attended by researchers, students and teachers from 9 countries.
One of the aims of this first bootcamp was to co-create a mobile application designed to help young people deal with problematic internet use. At this stage of the research, the contribution and involvement of students aged between 12 and 16 was extremely important. By sharing their opinions and suggestions, the participants defined the functionalities and design of the app, which aims to promote healthy internet use and prevent risky behaviour online. The foundations have been laid for a promising collaboration between everyone involved!
