Noisy silences blur the complexity of a fast-moving time that makes its colonial, slave-owning and exploitative past invisible, despoiling nature, subverting human relationships and mortgaging the possibility of a future.

Facing this time, the INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS ON ART EDUCATION have been held since 2010, bringing together artists, teachers and researchers from a broad geography, forging, in a movement of complicity, a shared mobilisation of interference and the construction of multiple epistemologies and ontologies.

The 9th ei_ea will be held in the city of Porto, Portugal, at ESMAE - P.Porto, FBAUP and FPCEUP, from 20 to 23 June 2025, pursuing the same aims as the previous Encounters.
