The syndrome of physical and psychological exhaustion associated with parenthood was the focus of the 3rd International Conference on Parental Burnout, an event co-organised by CIIE (Filipa César) and CPUP - Centre for Psychology of the University of Porto, which took place on 5 and 6 September at FPCEUP.

Marisa Matias and Jorge Gato, CPUP researchers and members of the Organizing Committee, were interviewed by Agência LUSA, Público newspaper and Sábado magazine, explaining the phenomenon that is affecting a growing number of mums and dads.
