The central place of the school in citizen education

Isabel Menezes, Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto and Director of CIIE - Centre for Educational Research and Intervention at FPCEUP, published a text in the newspaper Público.

"It's curious that, in this discussion, nobody seems to recognise the rights of children and young people - and, for that matter, the responsibilities of the state, public schools and adults in our country. These are the two thoughts I'd like to bring up here."
