Support for the participation of speakers from the USA in conferences and seminars in Portugal
 
US@PT Grants - support for US speakers at conferences and seminars in Portugal
Applications for support for the participation of speakers from the USA in conferences and seminars in Portugal must include the following elements:

- Meeting programme;
- Meeting budget itemising expenses and income, with an indication of co-sponsors;
- A brief biographical note on the speakers from the USA.

If the application is accepted, the Foundation's support is limited to subsidising all or part of the travel and/or subsistence expenses in Portugal, up to a maximum of 1,200 euros per speaker and a total of 2,500 euros.

How to apply:
The application must be submitted on an online form available through the online application system.

DEADLINES FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS

Conferences, seminars and workshops in Portugal starting in:

January 2013: Applications by 30 September 2012
February 2013: Applications due by 31 October 2012
March 2013: Applications until 30 November 2012
April 2013: Applications until 31 December 2012
May 2013: Applications until 31 January 2013
June 2013: Applications until 28 February 2013
July 2013: Applications until 31 March 2013
August 2013: Applications until 30 April 2013
September 2013: Applications until 31 May 2013
October 2013: Applications until 30 June 2013
November 2013: Applications until 31 July 2013
December 2013: Applications until 31 August 2013
The results will be announced no later than 60 days after the closing date for applications.
