"How old were you on 25 April?"
As part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of 25 April, the JEDI Community of Research Practices | Youth, Education, Diversity & Innovation releases the 2nd episode of the 3rd season of its podcast: "How old were you on 25 April?". This third series of podcasts is dedicated to recovering the memories and experiences of people who lived through the 25th of April in the first person. In this second episode, we spoke to Luiza Cortesão, a retired Full Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the University of Porto (FPCEUP). The experience of the Revolution in the city of Porto and the pre-revolutionary period, as well as the social, political and economic transformations that followed in Portugal, were some of the topics of conversation.
"I let the word so uncertain weave
freedom in the middle of this April
so that memory in Portugal doesn't forget."
(Maria Teresa Horta, 25 April)
