Luiza Cortesão wins the UCLA's Rob Rhoads Prize for Education for Global Citizenship 2022

The Paulo Freire Institute of the University of California at Los Angeles awarded Professor Luiza Cortesão, senior researcher at CIIE and Emerita Professor of the University of Porto, the Rob Rhoads Prize for Education for Global Citizenship 2022, for her life dedicated to Freirean studies and citizenship education.

The award created in 2019 in honour of Rob Rhoads, Professor of Education, recognises scientists whose research makes an important contribution to "education for citizens of the world", thereby promoting the education and development of people to become responsible members of a globalised society.
