CIIE/FPCEUP has a new project funded through the Erasmus+ Programme (KA2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices; KA201 - Strategic Partnerships for school education).
Entitled ‘UP2B - Boosting Up School Education towards European Citizenship and Labour Market Inclusion’, this project was submitted to the Erasmus+ Education and Training National Agency by APLOAD Lda, a services and consultancy company based in Maia. In addition to APLOAD (Coord. ) and CIIE/FPCEUP, the consortium also includes seven partners from six countries: TERRAS DENTRO - Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado de Portugal; Centro Tecnológico del Mueble y la Madera de la Región de Murcia (Spain); Cukurova Kaymakamligi; Çukurova Üniversitesi, a municipality in Turkey; Sdrudzenie Znam I Moga (Know and Can Association), a Bulgarian NGO; BrainLog, an NGO from Denmark; and Rigas Pardaugavas Pamatskola - Latvia; Terras Dentro - Association for Integrated Development; Знам и мога,
The CIIE/FPCEUP is coordinated by Angélica Monteiro and co-coordinated by Carlinda Leite, and also includes Amélia Lopes, Preciosa Fernandes and Cristina Rocha.
The 30-month UP2B project will begin in January 2020. Through an integrated approach of expertise, content and appealing teaching resources, UP2B aims to promote motivation at school (among students and teachers) and prepare students for their future lives as workers and citizens.
