The journal ESC - Educação, Sociedade & Culturas/Education, Society & Cultures is pleased to announce and invite submissions for a forthcoming special issue about "Between Paris and PISA: 200 years after the Esquisse et vues préliminaires d’un ouvrage sur l’éducation comparée by Marc-Antoine Jullien de Paris: Historical Approaches to Comparative Education".

The Guest Editors of this themed issue are Luis Grosso Correia, from University of Porto (Portugal), Ana Isabel Madeira, from University of Lisbon (Portugal) and Marcelo Caruso, from University of Humboldt (Berlin, Germany). The deadline for full manuscript submission is October 31, 2016.
