Sofia Almeida Santos has been appointed the Ministry of Education's national representative on the EPAN - Experts Policy Advisers Network at the Council of Europe to discuss issues of citizenship education, democratic education and human rights.

This participation comes at a crucial time when the working group approves citizenship education guidelines.
