Espaço T 'Quase Galeria' e FPCEUP
The Paulo Freire Cemetery exhibition is made up of distinct and complementary areas to which Ricard Huerta gives a common meaning, dialoguing with Paulo Freire: a panel of flowers, mainly carnations, pays homage to the life and revolution of April 1974; photographs in international contexts; photographs taken by teachers, researchers and some children; plastic dialogues by Ricard Huerta with texts by Freire.
The exhibition previously held at the Quase Galeria, with production and editing by Leonel Morais and José Nascimento, was brought to the FPCEUP space as a result of collaboration between institutions: University of Porto | Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and Faculty of Fine Arts; ESE School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto; University of Valencia | Creari Research Group in Cultural Pedagogies (GIUV/2013/103) / Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations; Almost Gallery / Espaço T Foundation; Paulo Freire Institute of Portugal.
The exhibition is the culmination of an artistic and educational project that combines artistic creation and education, literature, and the socio political concerns of the great political philosopher of education Paulo Freire. Innovation and inclusion, culture, participation and technology intersect.
