Abstract

Social|Haters aimed to contribute to a better understanding of hate speech among and by young people on social media in Europe, before and during COVID-19. A questionnaire, five case studies, and a systematic content analysis of posts on the social network TikTok were carried out as part of the project. The project's results will contribute to a reflection on preventing and combating online hate speech among and by young people in Europe, through partnerships with researchers from Spain and Italy associated with the project.
