The book will be presented by Professor Licínio Lima (UMinho) and the session will also be attended by Professor Isabel Menezes (to be confirmed), representing the CIIE, and several authors who will contribute their testimonies and reflections to the session.
Coordinated by Eunice Macedo and supported by an editorial board that includes Cosmin Nada, Eunice Macedo, Sofia Almeida Santos, and Elsa Guedes Teixeira, this book is inspired by and expands on the project Transferability of Promising Practices in Learning Across Different Educational Contexts (EduTransfer), which was conceived and submitted for funding under Horizon 2020 (European Commission). It is part of and justified within the framework of concerns about reducing inequality and social exclusion, which are evident in this European framework.
This book incorporates contributions from teachers and researchers who collaborated on the EduTransfer project, as well as policymakers in Portugal and teachers and researchers in Spain whose work dialogues with EduTransfer's concerns and guidelines.
