Carlinda Leite, in an interview with Expresso newspaper about the (un)attractiveness of the teaching career:

"The training issue was precisely one of the points analysed by the working group coordinated by Professor Carlinda Leite at the government's request and whose conclusions were delivered in December. The importance of implementing a professional retraining strategy stands out among the recommendations produced. 'For example, for history researchers with in-depth training in this scientific area but without training in pedagogy. We negotiated with higher education institutions about the possibility of running retraining courses, and we found a huge willingness to collaborate,' says the University of Porto professor."
