Gil Nata, researcher at the Centre for Research in Education and Intervention (CIIE/FPCEUP) and Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro participated in the RTP2 - Civil Society program, which was broadcast on September 24, 2024, on the theme: sobre o tema “Education: public and private schools”.

This participation is rooted in the research work carried out by Tiago Neves and Gil Nata at the CIIE over the last twelve years on secondary school rankings, grade inflation and the effectiveness of compensatory education.

The program featured Gil Nata, José Matias Alves, Associate Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), João Marôco, Researcher at Ispa – Instituto Universitário and Ana Balcão Reis, Full Professor and Deputy Director of Pre-experience Studies at the Nova School of Business and Economics.
