Launch of JSSE's new issue edited by members of CIIE

We are delighted to announce the launch of the new issue of the Journal of Social Science Education (JSSE) on "Global education at crossroads" edited by Dalila P. Coelho and João Caramelo with Mehmet Acikalin from Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa.

This last issue of 2020, the 4th of vol. 20, "is dedicated to global education in Europe and discusses challenges faced by this field based on the contribution of critical, postcolonial and decolonial perspectives. The authors explore the influence of historical legacies and systemic issues, the role and challenges of pedagogical experiences and teacher training regarding issues like colonialism, peace, human rights and sustainable development, and alternative research methodologies in global education. The texts included in this issue exemplify several 'crossroads' faced by global education, at the epistemological and conceptual levels, as well as pedagogical, methodological and political." (in JSSE, 2020, vol. 20, issue 4)
