Abstract

The project " EDULOG: Education Observatory" aims to define and systematize a set of explanatory indicators/ metrics that allow the knowledge of the current situation, trends of evolution and main structural dynamics of the Portuguese education system, that is, a critical reading of the education system for different audiences: public policy makers, researchers and teachers/ educators/ trainers. From these indicators, and associated with them, will be proposed the main themes that shape the education system. These indicators should be permanently made available by EDULOG to the various audiences. Recommendations will be produced for the interoperability between the EDULOG Observatory and the databases that currently contain the raw data, dispersed by various entities
