Abstract

University Pedagogical Advisory: Singularities and Synchronicities in an International Scenario

Pedagogical Advisory is a recent professional activity born out of the need to enhance university teaching and promote spaces for teachers' professional development. University teaching is established with an emphasis on research activities, which distances it from the didactic-pedagogical dimension that underlies this profession, causing gaps between the generation of teachers and that of students in higher education courses. In this movement of didactic-pedagogical training lies the Pedagogical Advisory, whose functions unfold in different areas of operation. However, in the context of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, this epistemological field in which Pedagogical Advisory is situated, namely the field of University Pedagogy, has faced various requests for action. This ranges from constructing virtual training spaces to meet the urgent demand for quality education in remote settings to addressing emerging themes such as pedagogical training based on concepts related to ongoing development, pedagogical and curricular innovation, and meeting the needs of students and teachers. The research aims to systematize the conceptions and practices of International University Pedagogical Advisory to identify the singularities and synchronicities of these experiences to determine the fundamental elements in the formative process proposed by pedagogical advisories, thus valuing these experiences. The goal is to integrate institutions and researchers from these countries, disseminating and consolidating these formative spaces of University Pedagogical Advisories.
