EIP – Teaching and Pedagogical Innovation

Summary

The potential contributions of EIP - Teaching and Pedagogical Innovation/CIIE-FPCEUP in the field of Education Sciences centre on the promotion of debates about the teaching-learning process, in the field of school education, as an activity of intervention and educational reflection. Also, through the intention to investigate the relationship between the act of teaching and the projects of pedagogical innovation. In this logic, the themes and problems of research and intervention that the group identifies as main are:

  • teaching-learning processes;
  • pedagogical differentiation;
  • innovation and teaching;
  • children and youth at risk;
  • curricular flexibility;
  • active learning methodologies;
  • teacher training.
EIP integrates students of masters, doctorates and investigators of ongoing research projects, giving the group its own dynamics. The group is also a space for formation and reflection with a strong articulation with the activities developed in the Master's and Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences of the FPCEUP.
