TEDeMoS – Work, Education, Development and Social Movements
About
Within the framework of the CIIE's strategic goals, the research community of practice TEDeMoS - Work, Education, Development and Social Movements/CIIE-FPCEUP is constituted from the combination of CIIE's members and doctoral and master's students in Educational Sciences' research interests around projects that develop and articulate the themes of work, young people and adults education/training, development and social organizations and movements.
Goals:
- To promote collaborative research and training processes/practices by integrating researchers and other social actors, enhancing spaces for the construction of knowledge and collective discussion, the creation of synergies, the sharing and exchange of knowledge, the analysis and critical reflection, and the development of projects;
- To produce knowledge on topics such as work and its transformations in contemporary societies; the links between education / training and work; education and training of young people and adults (formal, non-formal, and informal); education, cooperation, and development; education, animation, associativism and social movements;
- To encourage international scientific collaboration in these areas, namely through existing contact networks and research groups of which members are part;
- To stimulate the sharing and dissemination of produced knowledge.
This group meets monthly to discuss the ongoing research work and publications of its members, as well as to promote seminars and other activities of a scientific nature.
